There are many wonders in the beautiful world that we live in. Some are natural and others are constructed by man that seems to dominate the planet while still discovering it’s beauty.

Today i am going to list 8 natural wonders of the world that i know that are awe-striking and if given one chance to visit them everyone should because life is short and it only comes once. What is the excuse of not being happy and not visiting these beautiful places that we live with.

1. Grand Canyon, Arizona, U.S.A.
It’s the most awe-striking site in the United States. The steep-sided gorge is carved by the Colorado River. It was formed over two billion years ago due to mother nature’s work. However the floor of the valley is accessible by foot or by rafting. Activities to do there include hiking and running which are very popular. It has been a world heritage site since 1981.

2. The Great Barrier Reef, Australia.
This breathtaking site stretches 2600 kms and it can be seen from outer space. A holiday in Australia would be ideal from November to May when summer temperature are pleasant and the aquatic life is most vibrant.

3.Harbor Of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
It’s located in Rio De Janiero, Barzil. It was created by erosion from the Atlantic ocean. The harbor is surrounded by unique mountains and it’s the largest bay in the world, based on the volume of water.

4. Mount Everest , Nepal.
This is the world’s largest peak standing at 29,035 feet. It was named after Sir. George Everest and it is situated at the border of Nepal and Tibet. The shifting tectonic plates continue to push Mt. Everest upwards and therefore those wishing to stand at the summit, should choose the moment in Early may when the mountain is most inviting.

5. Aurora Borealis and Aurora Australis.
Aurora is a natural display of light in the sky. Aurora Borealis can be seen from the northern latitudes while it’s counterpart Aurora Australis is visible from high southern altitudes in Antarctica,South America, New Zealand and Australia.

6. Paricutin Volcano, Michocan, Mexico.
This is a volcano in Mexican state, Michocan that formed on the western hemisphere and is considered active. It’s said t have grown out of a corn field on a farm owned by a local Michocan farmer. He and his wife heard rumbles from the ground and saw a mounted anthill-like formation n their cornfield which later immensly increased in size and erupted without notice to what is now known as paricutin volcano. However the farmer and his wife managed to flee to a nearby village which was safer and lived to tell the tale together with the many farmers that lost their farms but had no choice but to flee to safer villages.

7.Victoria falls, Zambezi River, Africa.
It is a spectacular site inspiring beauty and gradeur of the Zambezi river and borders Zambia and Zimbabwe. it’s also known as,”The Greatest long Curtain of Falling Water,” which can be seen from miles away.

8. The Great Wild Beast Migration,Maasai Mara, Kenya.
Maasai Mara is located 290 kilometres from Nairobi the capital city. It’s officially known throughout the world and many have come back time and again to witness this mass movement of wild animals roaming freely through the unspoiled and savage wilderness in their millions.It’s numbers have risen to 3 million wild beasts and 1.5 million zebras.
